Whats up everybody! Today I continued my internship with Tempo Storm's media team with this stream involving John Mallinger, a pro golfer on the PGA tour. I have been a member of this crew for about a month now and it has truly been an amazing adventure. This live stream was apart of a number of separate streams called Game Changers. It is a travel show of IRL, in real life, streams and can be viewed off of Twitch. Reynad is the host who travels the world while the crew live streams the show directly to Twitch. Each stream usually consists of a director on cam A, a producer running the switchboard and audio, a PA who runs cam B and is basically a runner for the crew, and Reynad the host along with other hosts who join in on different adventures. The A cam is a Red Raven with a Sigma 35-80mm and the B cam is a Canon 5d mark with a Canon 24-70mm both recording in 4k. Both are outputting to a Cameralink system and then to Twitch. We sometimes add a GoPro or a drone to grab some pick-up shots. In terms of audio, we use lavs connected wirelessly to a Zoom H6. I operate the B cam and grab B-roll.
We streamed at the Terrania Resort Golf Course in Rancho Palos Verdes. Everybody who works at this resort was extremely friendly to the entire crew and the course was absolutely beautiful. Before this stream, Reynad had never swung a golf club and it showed. He picked it up quickly though. I don't think I have ever seen someone start with 30 strokes over par on the 2nd hole and finish with pars on the last two holes. To finish up, this was one of my favorite streams to work on so far.
